JOB SUMMARY
Designing a broad spectrum of high-quality print and digital products, the Graphic Designer will support the communications and marketing strategies of the business and its operating companies. With minimal supervision, this position will develop and maintain graphic identities for the business and its operating companies while ensuring designed communications materials are appropriate for a variety of business audiences, which may include investors, customers, communities, employees, the media and others. This position will plan for the effective use of business resources and facilitate the relationship(s) with print vendor(s) on behalf of the business and its operating companies. This position is expected to remain current on design trends and tools.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides graphic design direction and technical leadership in developing materials that contribute to the success of communication initiatives. Ensures design projects are prioritized and successfully completed according to deadlines.
- Develops and/or maintains the brand and identity standards of the business and its operating companies while ensuring compliance with copyright, trademark and/or service mark registration.
- Determines creative needs on communications projects. Participates in client/project meetings and project presentations. Communicates artistic concepts and technical requirements.
- Develops, designs, secures cost estimates/bids and oversees production and distribution of a broad spectrum of materials, producing creative, high-quality work that supports communications efforts.
- Oversees the work of printers and other vendors, ensuring projects are accurately produced/output. May attend press checks.
Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- This position may be eligible for a telecommute or hybrid work arrangement.
- Required minimal travel (up to 10%) including in-state and out-of-state by car and/or plane with overnight stays.

Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum two-year degree in graphic arts or related field, with demonstrated experience in graphic design; and
- Three plus years’ professional work experience in graphic design, with emphasis on creative direction.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Four-year degree in a related field.
- Photography and video experience.
