The Anne and Max Tanenbaum Community Hebrew Academy of Toronto, TanenbaumCHAT, is one of the world's leading Jewish high schools. Our students are each given an individual springboard for their future life, helping them realize their highest potential and inspiring them to lifelong learning and discovery. Founded with a small number of students in 1960, we have grown to over 1,400 students on two campuses. TanenbaumCHAT has a teaching faculty of over 185, including over 60 Jewish Studies faculty. We are known for the caring dimension of our teaching and close student-teacher relationships.
The two TanenbaumCHAT campuses, Kimel and Wallenberg, offer a family atmosphere and teaching of exceptional quality. TanenbaumCHAT is more than an education it is a total experience, including athletics, music, drama, annual trips to Israel, experiences that will shape each students understanding of themselves and the world around them. When our students reach graduation they have made friends for life, by learning and growing together.
