Company History
Georgia Gulf was formed in 1985. First year revenues were approximately $800 million generated from the manufacture and sale of commodity chemicals.
Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, the Company has grown through acquisition and is now an integrated producer and international marketer of chemicals and building products with over 4,000 employees located in Canada and the United States.
The Company's stock is traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol GGC.
