The organization, informally known as Information Technology at Purdue (ITaP), is responsible for planning and coordinating the central computing and telecommunications systems on the West Lafayette campus of Purdue University.

Company History

Purdue University was founded in 1869 and named after benefactor John Purdue, Purdue University is a statewide university system which includes five campuses and numerous teaching and research sites.


In 2001, three existing groups – the Purdue University Computing Center (PUCC), Management Information (MI), and Telephone Services - were united under the direction of a newly created Office of the Vice President of Information Technology.
