The Raymond Corporation is the leading North American supplier of electric warehouse trucks. Raymond is an integral member of the Toyota Material Handling Group, the world’s #1 lift truck manufacturer with operations throughout North America, Europe, Asia and the rest of the world.
The company headquarters are located in the village of Greene in Upstate NY near the city of Binghamton. Raymond has three North American manufacturing facilities in Greene; Muscatine, Iowa, and Brantford, Ontario Canada.

Company History
The Raymond Corporation and its international dealer network offer materials handling solutions that improve space utilization, increase distribution productivity, and lower operating costs. From our introduction of the first hydraulic hand pallet truck in 1930 and the first narrow aisle lift truck in 1951, to the incorporation of proven microprocessor control technology into lift trucks, Raymond has been establishing the industry's productivity standards—then raising them—since 1922.

Invented the first narrow aisle forklift truck in 1951. The first North American company to introduce AC power systems in narrow aisle forklift trucks (2001). Invented several new types of warehouse trucks including the Reach-Fork truck. Among the first U.S. companies to include non-management and hourly employees in decision making processeses. Early adopter of profit sharing programs. Maintained strongly profitable operations during the 2000-2004 economic downturn, at a time when overall Material Handling industry sales were lower by 30%.
