Company History
Turn back the clock to 1913 in Chicago. Four railroad workers find the practice of passing the hat an inadequate and unequal solution when a railway employee is injured or disabled. The one-desk office of the Brotherhood of All Railway Employees is established to provide much-needed individual accident and health insurance benefits to rank-and-file workers. This same organization has grown into a national presence with a remarkable financial strength. Today, Trustmark Insurance Company is a leading insurer and benefits administrator protecting groups and individuals from nearly every walk of life and line of work.
